Glass Ceramics
Glass ceramics are highly fire-resistant materials, made up of a combination of glass and ceramic elements, which can withstand high temperatures without deforming or breaking, thus becoming a highly durable and abrasion-resistant glass. They are also characterized by their transparency, adding an elegant and modern touch to any space, creating a feeling of spaciousness and luminosity. All of these characteristics make them the best option for fireplaces, stoves and ovens, as they are heat-resistant up to 750ºC. We work with the most prestigious brands such as Neoceram® by Nippon Electric Glass and Robax® by Schott. We have a permanent stock.
Borosilicate Glass
Borosilicate glass is made of glass with a combination of silicon and boron oxides. Its main characteristic is that it shows greater chemical and thermal resistance than conventional glass, such as soda-lime glass, which is why it has a high durability. It resists heat up to 500ºC for the first 10 hours, and the following hours it remains between 260º – 400ºC. On the other hand, its great transparency and optical clarity offer excellent visual quality. It is a hygienic material, with natural components, easy to clean and 100% recyclable, among its main advantages. Its main applications are in household appliances, ovens and laboratories, among others. Available in both transparent and smoked tones.
